Cabo San Lucas Golf
As you can tell by the quick list the right there are many golf courses in the Los Cabos Area. It was not till a few years ago, the Cabo actually became a world class golf destination. Currently Cabo has 6 world class golf courses and every year the Senior Slam (Senior PGA) championship is hosted there. Many of the courses are designed by some very well known golf course designers.
The Raven Club's 18 hole course was designed by the Dye Corporation who boosts its dramatic design style. The Raven Course offers stunning views of Land's End, San Lucas Bay and the Sea of Cortez. This course is located just 5 mins for downtown Cabo San Lucas.
The Cabo Real Golf course is home to two Senior Slams and has spectacular ocean front holes where you can watch the whales. This course was designed by Robert Trent Jones II and is a favorite of many golf pros that come to Cabo San Lucas. It is located in the Cabo Real Development in the Tourist Corridor.
Palmilla Golf Course is a Jack Nicklaus designed course which offers golf for every level. This course has actually been ranked in the 100 golf courses in the world. Every hole offers a view of the Sea of Cortez. It is located in San Jose del Cabo on KM 7.5 of the Transpeninsular Highway.
Cabo del Sol offers two courses, an ocean course and a desert course. The ocean course is Jack Nicklaus design stretching for more than a mile along the water. This course is often referred to as the Pebble Beach of Cabo. The desert course was designed by Tom Weiskopf and offers view of the ocean from almost all the holes.
