Cabo San Lucas Area
Cabo San Lucas is actually in the municipality of Los Cabos. Los Cabos is made up of San Jose del Cabo, the Tourist Corridor and Cabo. This area is located at the southern most point of the Baja Peninsula in Mexico. There are many ways to get there including by air, bus, or car.
The closest airport is the Los Cabos International Airport, conveniently located in San Jose del Cabo. Many of the major airlines fly into Los Cabos. If you would like to travel by car, you can come to the US/Mexico border and travel down Highway 1, it runs the entire way down the Baja Peninsula. There are also Greyhound buses that run down the Baja Peninsula, that can you get on, on the US side of the border. The drive on the bus is a long one, as it make many stops.

The Los Cabos area is a very tourism driven area. By that I mean that most of their money comes from tourism. There are many vendors, tour guides and information centers. Also, most people in Los Cabos speak English and accept US dollars. They really cater to their tourists and for you that means and easier vacation.
