Cabo San Lucas Activities
Cabo San Lucas has many activities for everyone. Some of the main activities include golf, fishing, surfing, diving, whale watching and diving or snorkeling. Some of the less known activities that are great to do in Cabo San Lucas are hiking, horseback riding, biking, climbing and sight seeing. There are also many activities for kids including atv tours, horseback riding, the fish museum and swim with the dolphins and many other activities geared for children. There are also some pirate ship cruises available.
Mountain biking is great for older kids. Mountain bikes can be rented by the hour or day in Cabo.The desert area around Los Cabos and the old lighthouse are some of the favorite mountain biking areas. Los Cabos offesr many areas of unique terrain for hiking and mountain biking. Local tour companies will assist you if needed. Also for the golf enthusiats Cabo San Lucas and Los Cabos now have six championship golf courses, including an 18 hole desert course. Also, the PGA Senior Slam Tournament has been hosted here since 1995. There is a challenge for even the most experinced golfer.
Cabo offers excellent kayaking. From the tip of the Baja peninsula at the arch, all the way up the coast towards San Jose Del Cabo, the water is usually calm and clear. A popular excursion includes putting in at the marina, and paddling out past the old cannery towards the arch. You can see many things you would not see in a boat tour, including the little inlets with deserted beaches. Another water sport is parasailing. It is a great way to enjoy the day. There are many tour companies who can assist you with parasailing. Or better yet spend the whole day at the beach you are sure to find something to keep you occupied.
